Bread baking is one of those almost hypnotic businesses, like a dance from some ancient ceremony. It leaves you filled with one of the world's sweetest smells...there is no chiropractic treatment, no Yoga exercise, no hour of meditation in a music-throbbing chapel that will leave you emptier of bad thoughts than this homely ceremony of making bread."
~M. F. K. Fisher ~ The Art of Eating
Oh, Yum!! That looks SO good.
ReplyDeleteBread is my weakness, for me, even chocolate does not compare to good bread and you have captured my point exactly lol. Kathy.
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful photo. I see the little specks in the bread! My hubby bakes bread. I avoid pie crusts and anything that uses yeast in order to keep myself from being committed into some sort of asylum. Pie crusts and yeasts don't like me and the feeling is mutual.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo. Looks delicious. I rarely bake bread but the few times that I have, I really enjoy myself.

True enough! I can smell it through my computer.
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell the aroma and there is nothing more lovely to the senses that fresh baked bread!
ReplyDeleteI really like the lighting you used to capture this photo! The bread looks so crusty and chewy! I bet it tasted so so good!
